Ashley Czapla

Ashley is the most recent addition to Photo Central's staff. Ashley graduated from Tec Voc in 2008, and immediately begin working in production for Technicare's Winnipeg outlet, constructing albums, mounting prints and providing numerous other printing services. With Technicare's closure in January of 2012, and Photo Central's decision to reach into the album and print product market, we are thrilled to have Ashley join us with her experience and expertise. Ashley also finds time to shoot and assist with shoots in her spare time. Welcome aboard Ashley!

Chris Insull

Chris serves as the manager at Photo Central, overseeing the day-to-day operations while personally running our fine art and large format printing services. Chris has been shooting professionally in Winnipeg for upwards of twelve years, focussing primarily on commercial and location work with some portraiture and weddings thrown in for good measure. Many of Winnipeg's billboards and advertisements showcase Chris' work. In addition to his other duties, Chris also serves as Photo Central's senior sales consultant. Chris has worked for Photo Central since October of 2007, when he was originally hired as our lab manager before moving up the ranks.

Dwayne Larson

Dwayne has worked full-time with us since August of 2009. Dwayne is a graduate of Prairie View School of Photography professional diploma program, and was valedictorian of the 2009 class. Dwayne continues to shoot on a regular basis, from bands and stage performances to weddings and portrait sessions.

Jonathon Muller

Jonathon is Photo Central's resident professor. Jon has a long history in cinematography and education, as well as extensive experience in stills shooting and all things lighting. Jonathon holds both an undergrad and a master's degree in Arts from the University of Manitoba. Jonathon serves Photo Central as its primary teacher in our ever-evolving course offerings. Jon has been with Photo Central since December of 2007.

Andrew Toews

Andrew is the owner of Photo Central, having taken the reigns from his father Dick Toews in the spring of 2008. Before officially purchasing the business, Andrew worked in various capacities at Photo Central since 1998, and has seen many changes in the photographic industry in his time here. With business and family taking most of his time these days, Andrew's photography has naturally shifted from nature and landscape to subjects closer to home. Having an undergraduate and master's degree in English Literature, Andrew enjoys art of all forms, which he finds a pleasant escape from the necessarily business-oriented nature of his role at Photo Central. Andrew is always available should you need his assistance or advice on anything from photographic equipment to the business of photography itself, and anything in between.
